What’s the difference between a Product and a Membership in Kartra?

The Product in Kartra is the “how you’ll get paid” – it’s where you set up the price and the thank you page and what info you ask for at checkout, etc.

So everything you sell needs a Product.

The Membership in Kartra is the “place where your content lives.”

So a course, or a content library or a membership, etc – those would live in a Membership.

For example, you set up your self paced course content in a membership, create a sales page and a thank you page, create a Product which goes into the sales page and grants access to the membership when someone purchases.

If you sell coaching, or a digital download or something delivered outside of a Kartra Membership then you just need a Product.
